Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 Specifications Leaked

Some new rumours have surfaced on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, specifically on the alleged specifications. From what we understand, it’s not expected to be an incremental upgrade as opposed to being a major one.

For starters, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, complete with 5G support, with 12GB to 16GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of either 256GB or 512GB. The foldable display will be a 7.6-inch Super AMOLED QXGA+ display with 120Hz refresh rate while the cover display will be a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate as well.

As for the camera setup, it will practically be the same as its predecessor, with the exception of the primary wide angle camera being bumped up from a 12MP sensor to a 50MP sensor. The under-display camera will make its return with an upgraded 16MP sensor while the cover display’s selfie camera will be a 10MP shooter.

Apart from that, the battery appears to be unchanged as its set at 4,400mAh with 25W fast charging. What’s interesting here is that there is no mention of a built-in S Pen slot which has been rumoured for a while now, so no word yet on whether that will be happening in this iteration or not.

At the moment, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is expected to launch in the next Galaxy Unpacked event sometime in Q3 2022, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip4.

Pokdepinion: I was hoping to see the battery capacity being improved slightly but perhaps they didn’t have the necessary room for it. After all, this one is rumoured to come with a built-in S Pen slot so it’s bound to take up some space in the inside. There’s always a chance this might not be accurate so we will just have to wait and see.
