We’re almost reaching the second half of the year, and Samsung has just teased its next Unpacked event, hinting the Ultra line coming for its upcoming Z Fold foldable smartphone lineup.
Galaxy Unpacked Teased

“For years, Samsung has listened to users asking for bigger screens, better cameras and new ways to connect and create. The demand is clear — an Ultra-experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features in a smaller and more portable form factor,” the company wrote in its news release titled “Meet The Next Chapter of Ultra.”
Technically, the Korean smartphone giant made zero mentions of its Z lineup in this short news release, although the clip attached to the post suggests that it’ll be something based on the Z Fold. Leaks have already indicated the upcoming foldable models to be released later this year, but amongst the names – Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Flip FE, and Galaxy Z Fold7 – there is no mentions of ‘Ultra’ whatsoever.
Could this be a secret model that is somehow kept away from leakers this whole time? Hard to say, and it also can’t be ruled out that this could just be a bit of a bizarre marketing exercise to associate some of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s features (such as 200MP camera) to this foldable. The rest of the news releases are splattered with mentions of AI, so you can expect it’s yet another massive Galaxy AI push when the foldable is eventually revealed in the coming weeks.
