vivo’s Sub-Brand iQOO Set To Witness Esports Action In 19th Asian Games

For the now-ongoing 19th Asian Games Hangzhou, vivo is given the status of exclusive supplier of the mobile phones in the event, while its sub-brand iQOO will provide devices used in the Esports category. As the second-largest sporting event after Olympics, the 19th rendition of Asian Games puts focus on technology, while athletes from Asian regions compete at their highest standards to clinch the medals in various disciplines.

As the official exclusive supplier of mobile phones for Hangzhou Asian Games, vivo will supply event staffs with its flagship X series smartphones featuring camera systems co-developed by German optics company ZEISS. The models provides include the X90 series, X Fold2 and X Flip foldable smartphones.

For the esports category, the responsibility goes to iQOO, vivo’s gaming sub-brand. The official esports gaming phones supplier will be supplying esports athletes with its smartphones for the matches with Arena of Valor – of which Malaysian team has secured a spot in medal positions. They’re expected to face the host country, China, in the finals today.
