Xiaomi Malaysia Ranks First As The Country’s Smartphone Vendors In 2021
Canalys has recently released their top smartphone vendors worldwide report for 2021 and it seems that Xiaomi took top spot in Malaysia.

From the study, we can see that Xiaomi has achieved 25% unit share last year, with an annual growth increase of 93% year-over-year (YoY). The latter as you can see is the biggest among the top 5 smartphone brands (on the list, of course).
Just behind them at second and third place are Samsung and vivo, who managed to gain 22% and 18% of the unit share respectively.
Canalys has stated that Xiaomi placed third overall in 2021 in Southeast Asia, with an annual growth increase of 42% and 17% unit share in the region, rising one spot from fourth place in 2020.
