Introducing the new Sony Alpha ZV-E10
The 24.2-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processing engine of the Alpha ZV-E10 provide high-quality photos with high sensitivity, detailed texture portrayal, and stunning natural bokeh.
The Alpha ZV-E10 also has the acclaimed video-specific features found in the popular digital camera ZV-1, such as “Background Defocus” 1 that allows the camera to smoothly switch between a blurred (bokeh) and sharp background, and “Product Showcase Setting” 2 that allows the camera to automatically shift focus from the subject’s face to an object being highlighted.
A new Still/Movie/Slow and Quick motion button positioned on the top of the camera allows producers to effortlessly choose between their preferred shooting mode with just one touch, in addition to the screen.
Advanced video functions such as 4K video recording and Slow Motion with outstanding picture clarity are also included in the new camera (FHD 120p). Electronic image stabilisation with Active Mode is also available, which ensures stable video recording even when walking and filming handheld. The advanced AF (autofocus) technology on the Alpha ZV-E10 also provides fast, precise AF with great tracking performance, as well as high-quality audio for clear sound recording.
Connecting the Alpha ZV-E10 to a PC or smartphone 17 allows it to be used as a webcam or live streaming camera, with no additional software required. While livestreaming or on video conversations, the user can make use of the Alpha ZV-image E10’s quality and crystal-clear audio, as well as Face Priority AE and Soft Skin Effect.
The Alpha ZV-E10 is compatible with USB camera standards such as UVC (USB Video Class) and UAC (USB Access Control) (USB Audio Class). The Alpha ZV-E10 also has a USB port that may be used to connect to a power supply while livestreaming for longer periods of time. The user can assign this function to a custom button to start streaming immediately for increased convenience.
Wi-Fi allows users to transfer selected photos and video files to a mobile device. The user can also transfer RAW image files using this method. After pairing the camera with the Imaging Edge Mobile app, the location data for the files can be obtained and recorded from the mobile device. Even if the camera is turned off, users can transfer files from an SD card in the camera to a smartphone (mobile device) over Bluetooth.
