After its early preview in KL Fashion Week earlier this month, vivo Malaysia has announced its vivo V60 smartphone will be available nationwide from 26 August 2025 onwards. As it has been known with the mid-range V series, the main selling point are cameras and looks, courtesy of ZEISS partnership and the new Berry Purple color, respectively.
vivo V60 Coming Soon

The vivo V60 is the first model in the V series to include “flagship-level imaging” technology, which includes a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera (Sony IMX882) with up to 10x optical zoom and support for up to 100x digital zoom, alongside ZEISS Multifocal Portrait Mode with 85mm and 100mm focal lengths. The smartphone maker says the imaging system is designed to replicate the depth and detail of “professional portrait lenses.”
When the vivo V60 launches, expect the Berry Purple color to appear in ads and showcases: this color, according to vivo, has been recently named Color Trend of the Year 2025, which “[positions] it as both a powerful creative tool and a cultural icon.” Fancy words, but the point stands – the company intends to cater this phone towards fashionistas, and the recent appearance in KLFW certainly corroborates that intention.
In case you missed it, here’s a quick rundown on known specs based on earlier information: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, 12GB RAM, 6,500mAh battery, 90W fast charging, IP68/IP69 ingress protection, and a 50MP+50MP+8MP triple-camera setup. Expect the rest of the specs to be fully revealed when the launch commences next week.

While pricing is yet to be announced, vivo has now opened pre-orders until 4 September at selected vivo Concept Stores, with packages including extended warranties, device protection, vivo accessories, gifts, and rebates worth up to RM1,456. Installments, cashback and trade-in programs will also be available in the coming weeks.
