Powering the new iPad mini is the A17 Pro chip – already found in the iPhone 15 Pro series – offers a 30% faster CPU and a 25% improvement in graphics capabilities over the previous model. This new chip also enables hardware-accelerated ray tracing and dynamic caching for greater visual fidelity in games. The tablet also supports the new Apple Pencil Pro, as well as Apple Pencil (USB-C).

Meanwhile, connectivity has been improved with Wi-Fi 6E, 5G support (for Wi-Fi + Cellular models), and a faster USB-C port rated for 10Gbps. On that note, cellular models will now have to rely on eSIM, as the physical SIM support is officially dropped in this generation. Other specs remain identical as the predecessor on the hardware side of things, though the new model will feature Apple Intelligence via iPadOS 18.1 update, which will be available starting this month.

The new iPad mini starts at RM2,199 for the Wi-Fi model and RM2,899 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. It is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB configurations. Apple Pencil Pro is priced at RM549, while the Apple Pencil (USB-C) is available for RM349.
