Lenovo has unveiled the Lenovo Tab Plus, an 11.5-inch Android tablet with a distinct hump at the bottom half of the device – this is where parts of the JBL-tuned speakers are housed (there’s 8 of them), and it’s paired with a 2K display and an adjustable stand designed for content consumption.

The speakers offer a combined 26W of output, housing four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers for deeper bass and clearer treble; it supports high-res audio when using headphones and – get this – doubles as a Bluetooth speaker that your devices can connect to.
Lenovo Tab Plus: Specs

The tablet’s 11.5-inch 2K (2000 x 1200, 5:3 aspect ratio) TUV-certified display has a 90Hz refresh rate, and its 8600mAh battery supports up to 12 hours of streaming, while a full charge takes 90 minutes via 45W fast charging. Powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, it offers up to 256GB of storage, expandable via MicroSD card, and is IP52 water and dust resistant.
It also includes features like Immersive Reading Mode and Standby Mode, which automatically activates when the device is not in use, to function as a photo frame or a digital clock. On the software side of things, the company promises 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches, up until June 2028.
The Lenovo Tab Plus will be available in Malaysia from 21 July 2024, priced at RM1,599, bundled with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, Lenovo Tab Plus Sleeve, and Lenovo Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard.
