LG Malaysia Introduces Its Latest OLED TV Lineup, Including evo G3, evo C3 & A3
LG Electronics Malaysia today has unveiled the updated OLED TV lineup spanning across three models, namely the LG OLED evo G3, LG OLED evo C3 and the LG OLED A3. “LG has dedicated extensive research and development efforts to ensure that the new series provides an unparalleled experience for consumers’ home entertainment needs. As an innovative brand that’s been recognised at the CES Innovation Award for 11 years in a row, we assure that the new line-up will deliver ever-greater value,” said Justin Choi, managing director of LG.
The new lineup mainly features the new processor, with the G3 and C3 getting the new α9 Gen6 AI processor and the entry-level A3 getting the α7 Gen6 chip responsible for color reproduction and upscaling. The G3 gets a new Brightness Booster Max tech that gets 70% brighter with the new light control architecture and algorithms; meanwhile, webOS now comes with a redesigned “Quick Cards” based UI that provide easier access to frequently-used features.
All models also get Dolby Vison and Dolby Atmos support, and integration with LG’s own soundbars provides multi-channel surround courtesy of DTS:X. The AI Sound Pro tech is the biggest upgrade, giving the new models capabilities to provide up to 9.1.2 channel audio, AI Clear Sound, Auto Balance Control and WOW Synergy that combines both audio sources for improved listening experience. Select models also feature NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium support, with 0.1ms response time and HDMI 2.1 (VRR) inputs.
