[WWDC 2024] Apple Vision Pro Expands To More Regions – Pre-Orders Begin Soon in New Countries

Apple has announced the global expansion of the Apple Vision Pro at WWDC 2024, with pre-orders for China mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore starting this Friday, June 14, at 9 a.m. SGT, and availability from Friday, June 28. Customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom can pre-order from Friday, June 28, at 8 p.m. SGT, with availability beginning Friday, July 12. The Apple Vision Pro promises to revolutionize digital content interaction by blending it seamlessly with the physical world, transforming work, collaboration, connectivity, entertainment, and more.

Vision Pro: A Revolutionary Spatial Computer

Apple Vision Pro, powered by visionOS, features an intuitive spatial user interface and magical input system navigated by eyes, hands, and voice. Built upon decades of innovation in iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, visionOS works seamlessly with Apple’s ecosystem of hardware, software, and services to deliver a delightful experience across users’ favorite Apple devices.

VisionOS introduces a three-dimensional user interface controlled by the user’s eyes, hands, and voice. Users can interact with apps by simply looking at them, tapping their fingers, speaking to dictate text, or using the virtual keyboard. Siri can open and close apps, play media, answer questions, and more. This infinite canvas frees apps from the boundaries of physical displays, providing users with the ultimate workspace for productivity and entertainment.

The App Store features over 2,000 apps designed for Apple Vision Pro and more than 1.5 million compatible iOS and iPadOS apps. Popular productivity apps like Box, Craft, Slack, and Webex, and top streaming services including Apple TV+, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video, will be available. Apple Vision Pro also supports gaming with thousands of fun titles and compatibility with PlayStation DualSense and Xbox Wireless controllers.
