Apple Watch ‘Pro’ Rumors: Larger Display and Body Temperature Sensor
This autumn, Apple is believed to reveal three versions of its smartwatch which are the updated SE, Series 8, and a high-end variant known as the Apple Watch “Pro”.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, both will have a dramatic makeover, better battery life, and a body temperature sensor, among other improvements.
According to Gurman, the Watch “Pro” will have a 7% bigger screen than the basic model and a new design that is a development of the present rectangular shape without being round. The smartwatch is also said to have a stronger titanium body.
The Watch “Pro” is also believed to incorporate a body temperature sensor. The sensor would allegedly be able to detect fevers and advise you whether to use a specialised thermometer or see a doctor. The smartwatch may also have longer battery life and will be able to run for several days on a single charge thanks to a new low-power mode.
The company has yet to confirm an official release date for the Apple Watch, although reports suggest it will be available in the autumn alongside the iPhone 14 and AirPods Pro 2.
