Last week, HUAWEI unveiled its new Watch GT 5 series, along with the new color option for its flagship wearable Watch Ultimate, as well as the MatePad Pro 12.2 PaperMatte Edition tablet. The company today announces the pricing and availability information, with pre-orders now live.
HUAWEI Watch GT 5 Series
The new HUAWEI Watch GT 5 series comes in four flavors: Pro 46mm, Pro 42mm, standard 46mm, and standard 41mm. HUAWEI says both smartwatches come with its new TruSense System, which is an array of sensors that monitors your vitals and health indexes. New features include Golf Course mode and a battery life up to 14 days for the Pro, or 7 days for the standard variant.
In terms of availability and pricing, both models are now open for pre-orders, and will be available starting this October 4th. Prices start from RM1,099 for standard models, whereas Pro 46mm costs RM1,999, while Pro 42mm costs RM1,999.
HUAWEI Watch Ultimate Green Edition
The HUAWEI Watch Ultimate Green Edition is the new addition that comes in a two-tone green/white colorway inspired by golf (with a golf-themed watch face), has a Golf Course mode and Expedition mode, with the chassis constructed using zirconium-based liquid metal casing. That being said, the internals are the exact same as the existing Watch Ultimate variants, just like its identical RM3,799 price. Like the Watch 5 GT series, preorders are now open until October 4th.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2
Finally, there’s the tablet – the new MatePad Pro 12.2’s main selling point is the PaperMatte tandem OLED display, with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, greater anti-glare properties, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. It’ll be bundled alongside the Glide Keyboard and the M-Pencil for RM4,599 with 12GB+512GB configuration, and you can preorder starting today until October 11th.
