HUAWEI Malaysia has launched the HUAWEI Watch Kids X1 Series nationwide, available in two variants: the Watch Kids X1 Pro and the Watch Kids X1. As the model names would suggest, this series is designed “to keep children connected while supporting their independence.”

Both models support global 4G connectivity and include multi-mode dual-band positioning – spanning satellite, base station, Wi-Fi, sensor-assisted, and SOS-assisted methods – for location accuracy in various environments. Parents can manage approved contacts, monitor usage, and track the device remotely through the HUAWEI FamCare app. Kids can make voice or HD video calls via HUAWEI MeeTime, while additional safety functions include real-time location tracking, SOS calling, Safety Zone alerts, and a “Class Mode” that disables non-essential functions during school hours.

Both models include a 5MP 110-degree ultrawide front camera and a 13MP rear camera, and for the Watch Kids X1 Pro in particular, it adds a detachable camera unit that allows photos to be taken independently of the watch. Each model features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a flipable, 360-degree rotatable design. The series comes in four colorways: Pink and Blue for the X1, and Black and Purple for the X1 Pro.

The HUAWEI Watch Kids X1 Pro is priced at RM1,599, and the HUAWEI Watch Kids X1 costs RM999 apiece – both are available at all HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI Official Website, HUAWEI online stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Customers will receive free gifts valued at up to RM808, including a one-year HUAWEI Care+ subscription and a one-year APAC Warranty.
