Nothing is set to debut a brand new segment in the form of “b” series, and the first model to be featured is the Nothing Phone (4b) set to be launched in 7 July 2026, at 6:00PM local time – the company has already set up a livestream on YouTube where the new model gets revealed to the world.
The new model is positioned under the budget segment below the “a” series, and luckily for the Phone (4b), it managed to survive the RAM-pocalypse – the similarly-segmented CMF Phone 3 Pro wasn’t so lucky as the memory cartel looks to wipe any semblance of value in the tech industry in their quest to be subservient to their AI overlords.
Nothing Phone (4b) Revealed
Here’s what has been officially said about the Phone (4b): it inherits some of its design cues from the mid-range Phone (4a) series, namely the unibody design of Phone (4a) Pro, along with the “Glyph Bar” introduced on Phone (4a), in this case located on the top-right corner of the chassis. Two rear cameras take care of the imaging, while on the bottom left there’s a small indent that resembles a fingerprint sensor – though Nothing didn’t say if that is indeed such. Three color options will be offered, which includes Black, White, and Blue.
As for the less-than-official bits, here’s what has been known from leaks and rumors. Earlier, a Geekbench listing suggests Phone (4b) could be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with 8GB of RAM; for reference, the Phone (4a) comes with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which sits above Snapdragon 6 segmentation-wise. Tipster Yogesh Brar says the phone will feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,400mAh battery; storage options are reported as 128GB and 256GB.
In any case, wait until July 7th and see how the specs turn out to be, and more importantly, the price – if you have been paying attention lately, many companies has since raised the price tags significantly to deal with extreme RAM and storage pricing induced by the shortage as AI industry scooped every bit of production capacity for years to come.
Pokdepinion: Less visually chaotic than their regular models, I’ll say.
