Samsung is gearing up for a major reveal at its next Unpacked event in July, where it is expected to introduce at least three versions of the Galaxy Watch7: the vanilla, the Classic, and the Pro. In addition, a more affordable Galaxy Watch FE may also join the lineup, though its official name has yet to be confirmed. For simplicity, we’ll refer to it as the Galaxy Watch FE.

Recently, a range of Samsung smartwatches were listed by the FCC, revealing model numbers SM-L300, SM-L305, SM-L310, SM-L315, and SM-R861. The L300 and L310 models are likely the Wi-Fi-only versions of the two sizes for the vanilla Watch7, while the L305 and L315 appear to be their LTE-capable counterparts.

The SM-R861 model stands out for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it follows Samsung’s older model number assignment scheme. Secondly, its numbering suggests it could be linked to the Galaxy Watch4 series, which used the SM-R860 designation. This aligns with rumors suggesting that the Galaxy Watch FE might launch as a refreshed version of the Galaxy Watch4 (2024).

What’s currently unclear is the status of the Classic and Pro Galaxy Watch7 models, as well as the rumored rectangular variant. These models have yet to appear in FCC listings, but it’s likely they will be certified soon if they are indeed part of Samsung’s upcoming releases. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to Samsung’s Unpacked event in July.

Pokdepinion: I can’t believe we’re already coming very close to the next iterations of Samsung’s new foldables. Heck, we’re almost reaching the end of the first half of 2024. Time is flying a little too fast.
