Recently, popular battle royale game Fortnite saw a new update with patch v5.21, and it contained some pretty great stuff to say the least. What’s not great though is that Fortnite developer Epic Games is reporting an increase in crashes after patch v5.21 update was released to the world.
On the bright side, Epic Games has identified the issue, so it shouldn’t be too much longer until they put out a hotfix or another patch. Unfortunately, we have no concrete information as to when that fix will be coming. It’s also unknown as to how many people are affected by this because this issue isn’t happening to everyone.
For those of you aren’t aware, patch v5.21 adds a brand new sniper rifle capable of destroying materials with one bullet, as well as two new modes: Sniper Shootout and Soaring 50’s. Now, you have more things to do in the game aside from the usual battle royale mode.
Fortnite is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices.
Pokdepinion: I was wondering why I saw quite a number of people complaining about the game on my Twitter feed. Now I know. Well, just be patient for a bit longer. I doubt the developer is willing to take this slowly as they might risk losing their player base to other games, such as the now popular choice of game on PC, Monster Hunter World.
