One of the most highly anticipated remasters in recent times, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, has now been delayed from its initial release date, and here’s why.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy Will Be Delayed

Spyro The Dragon HD Remaster LEAKED - Spyro: Reignited Trilogy Possibly Out in 2018

There is a significant number of gamers who could not care less with remasters with the exception of certain games. Spyro the Dragon is one of the rare exception but if you were looking forward to September for the game’s release, then we have some really bad news for you.

In an official blog post from Activision, Toys for Bob Co-Studio Head Paul Yan announced that Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be delayed. The reason for this is that it needs “more love and care”. In other words, there’s still a bit of development work needed to iron out the kinks or rather, to ensure gamers will have a more wholesome, rage-free experience.

He also promised that when we finally get to play the game, it will be worth the wait. The good news is that the new release date for Spyro Reignited Trilogy is not far off from its original one. The game will now be released on 13th November 2018, and it will still be popping up for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

If you’re on PC and you’re wondering if it will be coming your way, unfortunately, there has been no word on that just yet. We’ll be sure to keep you guys informed if and when it happens.

Pokdepinion: Well, September is packed with a lot of interesting game releases so the game reviewer in me is somewhat relieved. However, the inner gamer in me is now sulking like a little child.
