The Elder Scrolls Online: Scions of Ithelia DLC & Update 41 Now Available On Consoles
Bethesda has announced the latest expansion for Elder Scrolls Online, titled “Scions of Ithelia,” alongside Update 41, which is now available on all console platforms, following the PC release in early March. This DLC pack introduces two new PvE dungeons: Oathsworn Pit and Bedlam Veil.
Players can access the new content by teleporting directly into the dungeons, using the Dungeon Finder tool, or walking up to the dungeon entrances within the Reach and Wrothgar regions.
In Oathsworn Pit, players must assist the Orc Bazrag in reclaiming a training ground invaded by Wood Elf invaders. Meanwhile, in Bedlam Veil, players must defend a hold from raiders looting a demiplane of Maelstrom. Both dungeons offer unique challenges and rewards, including new item sets and collectibles. The storyline will be further continued in an upcoming chapter, titled ‘Gold Road’, set to release on June 3 for PC/Mac, and June 18 for console platforms.
Players can access the Scions of Ithelia DLC through ESO Plus membership or by purchasing it from the Crown Store for 1,500 crowns. Additionally, a Deluxe Bundle is available for 4,000 crowns, which includes access to the DLC pack, Ashbone Sabre Cat mount, Ashbone Echalette pet, and five Crown Experience Scrolls. ESO Plus members can claim the Deluxe Bundle for free within two weeks from the DLC’s release date on consoles – 26 March 2024 – which translates to the end date of 9 April 2024.
Meanwhile – the Update 41 base-game patch is also available to all players. This update includes stackable siege weaponry in Cyrodiil, a new PvP item set rewards, an all-new Mythic item, and style pages for Class Sets. In this update, Bethesda has also renewed the system requirements, which dropped Windows 7 support.
“Scions of Ithelia” DLC and Update 41 are now live on PC/Mac, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
