PUBG Mobile Launches New In-Game Event Featuring Alan Walker

PUBG Mobile today announces the new in-game event, the Air Drop Carnival – aside from special in-game rewards up for grabs, the event will also feature renowned EDM artist Alan Walker with his new track produced for the game.

The event introduces the new summer-themed Cool Island which is available in four maps: Erangel, Livik, Nusa and Sanhok, and in these maps comes the new two-seater “Duckboat”, which can be used to navigate through the maps. Players can expect huge loot from the Air Drop Carnival Crate on the island; aside from that, free crates will be available to all players and be eligible to upgrade the crates to Level 5 during the event, which offers bigger prizes.

Aside from that, internationally-acclaimed EDM producer Alan Walker is the game’s Air Drop Carnival Ambassador, who will be releasing his new dedicated track for the game, Lands Of The Heroes (first announced at 2023 PUBG Mobile World Invitational). Players will get to listen the soundtrack when they’re within the vicinity of Cool Island – and there will be an event coming up for players (ends August 10th) to unlock the soundtrack after the end of Air Drop Carnival. The Alan Walker themed set will also make its return for the first time in 4 years.

All crates accumulated and leveled up in the Carnival can be opened in “Crate Day”, or August 18th, which will provide permanent rewards to the players. The Air Drop Carnival kicks off today, and will be running until August 20th, 2023 (Sunday).
