Nintendo debuts Malaysian website!
Nintendo launches Official Website for Malaysia

Four months after Nintendo set up their Singaporean website, the Nintendo Malaysia website is finally online. However, this news may not come as a surprise to some as many of the Malaysian website elements resembles that of Singapore’s.
One of the first things to notice is the same welcome page with the country being changed to Malaysia. There is also the same serial number codes for each of the games in their own page, which is very different from the way Nintendo America’s website spells out the name of the games in the URL.

Another similarity is that there is no price mentioned on the website. Instead, users will be directed to the individual Lazada and Shopee online store pages. As Nintendo Malaysia doesn’t have its own shop, unlike its Singaporean counterpart, the website has direct links to M.M.Soft Malaysia, which is the official regional distributor also known as Maxsoft.
Pokdepinion: Feels like Nintendo lazed out in making things different for us Malaysian folks since we are in the same region as our neighbours across the causeway. Here’s to hoping that in the future we might have our own Malaysian eShop.
