Genshin Impact Nintendo Switch Port Delayed But For A Good Reason
As many of you may know by now, we are expected to see a Genshin Impact Nintendo Switch port sometime soon. It’s already available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS. It looks like the port will have to be delayed but for a good reason.
Genshin Impact Nintendo Switch Port Delayed
For those of you who have been patiently waiting, the Genshin Impact Nintendo Switch port will be delayed. According to Genshin Report, the reason for the delay is because of the weaker hardware. While there is the argument that the game is able to run on mobile, usually the flagships are the ones that can run it well.
The good news here is that the Genshin Impact Nintendo Switch port will still be coming sometime later this year. This means that you won’t have to wait too long despite the sudden news of the delay.
Previously, there were speculations of the port facing numerous issues, from microtransactions to Nintendo eShop compatibility. However, nothing has been confirmed and it might just be nothing more than rumours.
Genshin Impact is currently available for free on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC.
Pokdepinion: While Genshin Impact isn’t exactly too heavy of a game to run, I’m not surprised to see it struggle to run efficiently on the Nintendo Switch. Perhaps when the Pro version is out, that wouldn’t be a problem but they certainly need to optimize the game some more.
