Phasmophobia Update Comes With A Feature That You Thought Was Already There

Phasmophobia was a major hit when it was released back in September 2020. You’d probably played the game or even seen players stream it where you/they would talk to the ghosts to lure them out. It was found out recently that the feature (talking with ghosts) wasn’t actually possible.

The folks at Kinetic Games have noticed about the matter and has released a new update that allows you to do exactly that; talk to the ghosts in the game.

They’ve said at their official Twitter accounts “The Ghosts will now listen for player voices when hunting and will search those locations. The voice update is based on how loud your mic is. So you will be able to whisper during a hunt”.

In case you’re not sure of what Phasmophobia is, here’s the description of the game courtesy of Steam:

Phasmophobia is a 4 player online co-op psychological horror. Paranormal activity is on the rise and it’s up to you and your team to use all the ghost hunting equipment at your disposal in order to gather as much evidence as you can.

The Phasmophobia update has been released to the Early Access game, which at the time of writing is priced at RM31.

Pokdepinion: I was quite suspicious on whether the ghosts could hear prior to the update. Now I’m just having a laugh at my friends because they thought it was legit :P At least now it is.
