Microsoft has officially confirmed that the Xbox PC Game Pass is coming to Malaysia and a few other countries in Southeast Asia. Here’s what you need to know.
Xbox PC Game Pass Malaysia
After a long wait, Microsoft has finally announced that they will be bringing the Xbox PC Game Pass to a number of countries in Southeast Asia. This includes Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines.
From our understanding, Malaysian gamers can get a preview of the Xbox PC Game Pass via the Xbox Insider Hub, which can be downloaded via the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Once you have agreed to participate in the Xbox Insider program, there will be a Preview option on the left side, which will contain details on the Southeast Asia Expansion of the service.
Unfortunately for now, we still have no idea how the pricing will be like once it has been localized, nor do we know when it will be happening. All we know is that it is indeed coming. With that being said, a quick search around will reveal an RM15 per month subscription fee, with a 50 sen fee for the first month as trial.
In case you weren’t aware, the Xbox PC Game Pass gives you access to large library of PC games, including the ones from EA Play, for a small monthly fee. For now, we will report more on this as soon as information becomes available.
Pokdepinion: As soon as it’s up, I’m definitely subscribing to it. I mean, you get to play so many games at such a low price, it’s practically a steal. If at any point I might not play it, I’ll just stop for a while and resubscribe when I feel like playing again. Easy peasy.
