Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is officially available worldwide – developed and led by Ubisoft Singapore alongside 14 co-development studios, this title is a full remake of the beloved 2013 pirate adventure, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, rebuilt from the ground up using the latest version of Ubisoft’s Anvil engine.
The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Windows PC via the Ubisoft Store, Steam (with Steam Deck verification), and the Epic Games Store, as well as through Ubisoft+ Premium.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: What’s New in the Remake

The remake stays true to the spirit of the original while introducing several gameplay improvements. Combat has been overhauled with a parry-driven system, while stealth and parkour mechanics have both been refined; naval gameplay receives deeper mechanical treatment, and the title also introduces new narrative content not present in the 2013 original.
Players return to the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy, once again stepping into the boots of Edward Kenway, a roguish pirate captain who finds himself entangled in the ancient struggle between Assassins and Templars. The story brings back iconic historical figures including Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack.
To mark the launch, Ubisoft released a resynced version of the famous E3 2013 trailer for the original game, produced in collaboration with the same artists behind the original Horizon trailer. The new version showcases the Caribbean environment as rendered by the updated Anvil engine. On the audio front, Brian Tyler’s original score, including the iconic Black Flag Main Theme, is accompanied by 22 newly composed tracks from Stephen Lukach, written exclusively for Resynced. The title’s Original Game Soundtrack is now available as well.

Three editions are available at launch: the Standard Edition includes the base game and is available on all supported platforms, while the Deluxe Edition is a digital-only release that bundles the base game with the Master Assassin Character Pack and the Master Assassin Naval Pack, also available across all platforms. Finally, the Collector’s Edition includes everything in the Deluxe Edition along with a curated set of physical items: an Edward Kenway figurine, a wearable metal brooch, an exclusive SteelBook, a cloth map, and additional collectibles.
All editions require a one-time internet connection for the initial download, after which the full main campaign is playable offline.
Pokdepinion: A full remake of one of the most beloved Assassin’s Creed games is genuinely exciting news, though rebuilding a fan favorite from scratch is a gamble that Ubisoft can’t afford to fumble right now.
