Official English Releases for Trails To Azure and Trails From Zero Unveiled

It’s a great time for JRPG fans across the globe as we have official confirmation that the official English releases for The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure and Trails from Zero will indeed be coming.

English Versions of Trails To Azure and Trails From Zero Unveiled

At the Nihon Falcom 40th Anniversary concert by NIS America and New Game Plus Expo, it was confirmed that the official English localizations of The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure and Trails from Zero will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in the future.

For those of you who aren’t aware, both Trails to Azure and Trails from Zero was launched on the PSP over a decade ago with PC releases later on. The Geofront team developed a mod that allowed fans to play the game in English along with other upgrades, especially visual. This basically means that their work was so good, officials actually decided to partner up with them.

While it was never stated, it’s highly likely that the ports of the two games will be based on the 2019 PS4 Kai ports, which were based on the PS Vita ports with full voice acting. Falcom President Toshihiro Kondo apparently teased the Kai version coming in the West previously so it’s a good sign of that happening now.

It’s incredible to see the team partnered up with NIS America so the work they have done so far can help pave the way officially for the series and support its expansion in North America and Europe.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure will be coming sometime in 2023 whereas Trails from Zero will be coming in Fall 2022. Both games will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Pokdepinion: As a huge fan of the whole franchise since Trails of Cold Steel, I just wish it could come sooner. Good thing they’re using the latest version of the game at least so we can enjoy better visuals.
