Genshin Impact To Introduce Sixth Nation, Natlan, In Version 5.0 Update

Genshin Impact players will soon get the Version 5.0 update, “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn,” which will be available on August 28. This update introduces the sixth major nation in Teyvat, Natlan, known as the Nation of War – players will be able to explore this new region and interact with its inhabitants, including warriors such as Kachina, Kinich, and Mualani, as well as the Saurians, a species evolved to coexist with humans in Natlan.

Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Update Highlights

Natlan will be accessible through an unlocked Teleport Waypoint, available to players who have completed the Prologue of the Archon Quest in Mondstadt. Located west of the Sumeru desert, Natlan is divided into six main tribes. In this update, players will have the opportunity to explore three of the six tribes and encounter three different types of Saurians that coexist with the locals.

Navigating the challenging terrain of Natlan will require mastering the abilities of various Saurians. Players can transform into Saurians, such as the Tepetlisaurus, adept at tunneling undergrounds and climbing cliffs, and the Yumkasaurus, known for their ability to reach great heights. The Koholasaurus, which excels at moving quickly on water and liquid Phlogiston, can be seen near the sea with the People of the Springs.

Natlan’s main storyline unfolds at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, where the Champion of each tribe is determined through a tournament. Players, accompanied by local warriors, will need to reach Adventure Rank 28 and have completed all of Liyue’s Archon Quests to begin Natlan’s Archon Quest.

The new characters introduced in this update reflect the unique skills and traditions of their respective tribes. Kachina, a four-star Geo polearm wielder, can summon Turbo Twirly to scale walls and cliffs; Kinich, a five-star Dendro warrior, utilizes a claymore and grappling hook to reach heights and attack enemies. Mualani, a five-star Hydro catalyst wielder, uses a Sharky Surfboard to move across various terrains and inflict damage in combat.

Version 5.0 will also introduce new Event Wishes, with characters Mualani and Kachina debuting in the first phase, alongside the rerun of Kaedehara Kazuha. Kinich will debut in the second phase, along with the Raiden Shogun. Additionally, the Tribal Chronicles will replace the previous Story Quests, providing a deeper understanding of Natlan’s three new characters and each tribes.

As Genshin Impact’s fourth anniversary approaches, players can expect rewards and bonuses, including daily login rewards, Primogems, exclusive gadgets, and the opportunity to invite a 5-star character from the Standard Wish lineup to their team. Further updates on Character Event Wishes, Weapon Event Wishes, and new tools for redeeming Artifacts will also be included in this latest version.
