PlayStation Studios has announced updates for two titles: HELLDIVERS 2 now joins the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe subscribers, while Ghost of Yotei is welcoming a new Complete Edition release this October.
PlayStation Plus Welcomes HELLDIVERS 2
HELLDIVERS 2 has been added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, allowing PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe members to access the game, in which squads of up to four players complete missions within an evolving Galactic War setting. The third-person shooter simultaneously launched a new game update titled Devoid of Liberty on the same day of this announcement.
Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Launches 2 October
Meanwhile, Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition will launch on PS5 on 2 October 2026 (local time), bringing a new narrative expansion, a single-player combat survival mode, and additional updates to the base game.
The Echoes of Sekigahara expansion is split between present-day sequences and flashbacks depicting Atsu’s time on the mainland. It introduces a character named Nagato from Atsu’s past, along with a previously unseen valley inhabited by a character known as The Snake and his followers, the Vipers. The expansion adds new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, and dyes.
A separate mode, Most Wanted, is a single-player combat survival mode in which players accept bounties to begin new runs, defeating enemies to earn perks and unlock additional playable characters. Each character offers a distinct combat style, including Atsu with dual katana, Oyuki with a kusarigama, and Nagato with a yari.
The Complete Edition includes the main Ghost of Yotei game, the Ghost of Yotei Legends online co-op mode, the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion, the Most Wanted mode, previously released Digital Deluxe Edition content, and an item called the Charm of Hokkyokusei. Buyers of the Complete Edition can begin playing the main game and Legends mode immediately, with Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted becoming available on 2 October.
Existing Ghost of Yotei owners can access the new expansion and mode by purchasing the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Upgrade (at RM60.11). Players who pre-order the upgrade by September 30 will receive early access to the Sakai Armor (an item based on Jin’s family armor from Ghost of Tsushima) at the expansion’s launch.
