PlayStation’s Project Q Leaked: Running Modified Android OS
Back in May, PlayStation got gaming enthusiasts excited with the announcement of Project Q, a handheld device designed exclusively for Remote Play with the PS5. The first leak was a short 28-second video showcasing Project Q in action, running what appears to be a Chinese version of Android OS. While the user interface is visible in the video, the device itself is still clad in plastic wrapping, which obscures some details. Nevertheless, we get a glimpse of the streaming handheld’s design, providing a partial 36-degree view of the device.
In a separate tweet, @Zuby_Tech shared an image of Project Q without its screen, giving us a peek at the internal housing that holds the device’s electronics. Unfortunately, due to the limited visibility, it’s challenging to discern many details, except for what appears to be a battery. Pokdepinion: Personally, I’m not excited for it but I’m aware there are a decent number of people looking forward to it. I just wanted something like a PSP as opposed to this concept, but I suppose that is a bit too risky given what happened to the PS Vita.
