Munchy’s Malaysia has marked its 35th anniversary with a RM500,000 in-kind product contribution to the National Day and Malaysia Day 2026 celebrations, marking the company’s third consecutive year of support and its largest contribution to date. The contribution was presented to the Minister of Communications, Fahmi Fadzil, during an official handover ceremony organized by the Ministry of Communications at Putrajaya.

Rodney Wong, Chief Executive Officer of Munchy’s Malaysia, said the increased contribution reflects the company’s continued commitment to occasions of significance for Malaysians. “For 35 years, Munchy’s has grown alongside Malaysia and become part of the everyday lives of Malaysians across generations and backgrounds. National Day and Malaysia Day provide an opportunity for us to celebrate this shared journey and give back to the country and people who have supported us throughout the years.”
Wong added: “As we mark our third consecutive year supporting the celebrations, we are proud to make our largest contribution yet. We hope our products will add to the joy of the occasion and create memorable moments for Malaysians participating in the celebrations nationwide.”
The products will be distributed through selected programs and activities held as part of the National Day and Malaysia Day 2026 celebrations, allowing participants and communities nationwide to take part in the festivities. Munchy’s Malaysia began supporting the national celebrations in 2024 and has expanded its involvement in each subsequent year.
“As a proud Malaysian brand for the last 35 years, Munchy’s remains committed to growing alongside the nation and contributing to occasions that celebrate Malaysia’s identity, progress and diversity,” the company said.
