Acer Malaysia Brings New Predator Helios 300 to Malaysia
Last year, we saw the gaming-centric Acer Predator Helios 300, which was really attractive for the price it’s being sold. Now, a newer version of the laptop its out, with a brand new look and beefier hardware.
This gaming laptop is a mid-ranged gaming beast that fits perfectly for Esports. It’s powered by the 9th Intel Core i7-9750H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. There’s even a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD for fast loading speeds, and 8GB DDR4 RAM. It manages to fit all of this in and shave off 3.8mm in terms of thickness from the previous iteration, effectively measuring it at 22.9mm.
The power will certainly be put to good use as the Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop utilizes a 15.6-inc Full HD IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate. For those who are geared towards competitive gaming, it has a 3ms response time so you can be sure of very minimal delays.
To ensure that the system will be able to in optimum temperature, Acer has equipped this with the new 4th Gen Aeroblade 3D Fans. It is said to give 45% more airflow and up to 35% less noise compared to traditional fans.

The Acer Predator Helios 300 will be retailing from RM5,399 with a 2-year warranty + accidental damage / theft protection. It will be available starting today onwards at all Acer authorized dealers nationwide and Acer official online stores.
Pokdepinion: I remember liking the look of last year’s one, but was disappointed by its thermal performance. Hopefully, that has been solved in this new iteration.
