The new Apple AirPods Pro 2 is finally here, and it’s powered by the Apple H2 chip. It may look similar to the old one but there are a number of new notable inclusions such as a low distortion driver and an amplifier on board which will cover a wider range of sound frequencies.

As for surround sound, you get the new Spatial Audio feature with personalized 360° audio. This is made possible thanks to the true depth camera on your iPhone which creates a personalized spatial sound profile based on the shape and size of your ears.

Apart from that, ANC (active noise cancellation) has been improved with advanced computation audio and optimized microphone placement. With Adaptive Transparency, the mic listens in for high decibel noise around you and cancels it out. It is claimed to be twice as good as its predecessor in this department. The Force sensor control point now has extra touch controls for volume adjustments.

The battery life is said to last up to 6 and a half hours per full charge, and the charging case is compatible with the Find My service. It even gets a speakers to play high pitch sounds in case you ever lose it. You can charge it via the Lightning port or wirelessly using any Qi charger, MagSafe charger, or the Apple Watch charger.

The Apple AirPods Pro 2 will be available starting 23rd September 2022. They will be retailing for USD $249 (RM1,099).
