It seems that Apple has released an iOS update to fix the infamous charging problem that has been over the web recently.

Apple Release iOS Update To Cope With iPhone Charging Issue - 17Previously, it has been reported that many users of the brand new iPhones has been getting problems when they try to charge their devices. Some of them wouldn’t charge when the phone is in idle mode, while some simply won’t charge at all.

It seems that Apple has rectified the problem with the release of iOS 12.0.1 update. Besides that fix, the update also offers fixes other issues which includes a Wi-Fi issue where the iPhone XS would apparently connect to 2.4GHz connection instead of 5GHz band when rejoining.

Besides that, the position of the .?123 key has also been switched back in the update on iPad.

Subtitles in some video apps has apparently been solved with the update and Bluetooth connectivity has also been fixed.

The new iOS 12.0.1 update is 100MB and is now available for compatible devices.

Pokdepinion: It’s good to see that they’ve updated to fix the issue but… is it a little bit too late? I mean if you’re buying a phone (and in this case, they are expensive) you shouldn’t have an issue on one of the basic functions of a device. What do you think?
