It’s almost time for the #PCMasterRace to get their hands on Destiny 2. If you want to speed things up, the pre-download is already available on Battle.Net.

You Can Now Pre-Download Destiny 2 on PC

If you’re one of those people who are super eager to play Destiny 2 on PC, the time for that is almost here. The folks at Activision and Bungie have just made the pre-download of the game available on Blizzard’s Battle.net client.

By launching your client, you can start downloading right now and depending on your connection, it might take quite some time: the full package is a whopping 36 GBs. Keep in mind, that the actual hard disk drive space required is much higher (about 70 GBs) since the download appears to be heavily compressed.

Luckily, we have a few days to get it done because the game won’t unlock until October 24th. Of course, that also means that if you want to play as soon as possible, you’re out of luck, and you have to wait like me and the rest of the second class citizen on PC. Oh, joy.

Destiny 2 Synopsis via Destinypedia.com:

Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee.

You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home.

Destiny 2 is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but if you’re interested in the PC version, it’s going to be up very soon so it’s best to pre-download it first so you don’t have to wait too long before you get to play the game. On top of that, you can enjoy the launch trailer for PC.
