GIGABYTE brought their latest and greatest to CES 2020, and what’s greater than a gaming laptop with a mechanical keyboard built into the system? But then again, mechanical keyboards in laptops aren’t exactly novel. But the GIGABYTE AORUS 17 is the world’s first laptop to use OMRON’s B3KL mechanical switches.

The OMRON B3KL switches give the GIGABYTE AORUS 17 a tactility that is unmatched by ye olde laptop keyboard. You also get more travel distance which is a boon for typists and gamers alike. In fact, GIGABYTE are so confident that people will love the new keyboard that they have actually made an ultra-thin standalone OMRON-based mechanical keyboard.

Under the impressive keyboard of the GIGABYTE AORUS 17 is of course the latest Intel processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics, perfect for the hardcore gamers that GIGABYTE is targeting with the AORUS 17. To improve your audiovisual experience, GIGABYTE also equipped it with a 240 Hz display and an ESS SABRE DAC chip.

GIGABYTE also showcased the AERO 15 and AERO 17 HDR laptops at CES 2020. The two laptops bridge the gap between gaming and creator laptops with a slew of features that make them perfect for both applications.

Pokdepinion: I wonder if they will make a 15″ version soon.
