CES 2020: Dell Unveils New Alienware Second Screen Concept

There were quite a number of things unveiled at CES 2020 and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping anytime soon. Dell has officially announced a new concept software designed for gamers and it’s known as the Alienware Second Screen.

The Alienware Second Screen software lets you see your PC performance stats using your smartphone. It utilizes the same technology behind the Dell Mobile Connect software and it syncs with the Alienware Command Center software to provide you with the necessary PC data.

We think this idea will peak the interest of mobile gamers who don’t always have access to a second monitor but still want a way to track their performance without leaving the game.

It shows your CPU, GPU, and RAM diagnostics in real time right on your smartphone. Interestingly, Dell mentions that the Alienware Second Screen is simply an “exploratory concept”. However, they are looking for ways to improve it in future updates. As such, they are looking for feedback from the community as to what direction they should take with new features.

Pokdepinion: It’s a direction that I’ve seen in other brands as well, and anything that can add convenience for consumers is definitely a good addition.
