[Computex 2019] ASUS ZenBook Edition 30 and ZenBook 13/14/15 announced

If you have been following us, we reviewed the ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX433) earlier this year which was technically Q4 2018 model. Four months later and we are already presented with an upgraded version of it. The latest ZenBook 13 (UX334), ZenBook 14 (UX434) and ZenBook 15 (UX534) laptops now feature the ScreenPad 2.0, completing the line-up of hardware honing this technology.

The ScreenPad itself is definitely going to exhilarate the experience of the ZenBook, but that’s not all that’s changed here though.

All models feature a four-sided frameless NanoEdge display with 95% screen-to-body ratio, maximizing viewing area for the ultimate experience. This, combined with superior performance makes it a rather lovable laptop.

Under the hood, lurks 8th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPUs, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics, 16GB RAM, PCIe SSDs and Wi-Fi 5, considering the highest end specifications.

Much like we explained in the VivoBook unveiling, the ScreenPad 2.0 has a larger 5.65-inches touchscreen in place of the touchpad that offers many new features and benefits. It also has the similar Quick Key that enables one-tap automation of complex keyboard sequences, Handwriting for natural text input, and Number Key for data entry.

In the aesthetics department, things are looking pretty much similar as its predecessor as all models feature the Zen-inspired spun-metal finish on the lid with the choice of Royal Blue anodized finishing, enhanced with gold lid logos and contrasting Rose Gold trim bar. The ErgoLift is definitely here to stay as it is proven comfortable for prolonged typing tasks.

What drew our attention was actually the limited-edition ASUS ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334FL) which is ASUS way of celebrating 30 years of innovation. Inspired by the 2006 S6F Leather Collection, which was the world’s first laptop to incorporate genuine-leather panels, the ZenBook Edition 30 brings a twitch to that with a lid encased in luxurious Pearl White genuine Italian leather, hand-crafted and hand-stitched for perfect fit appearance.

The Rose Gold anodized diamond-cut edges and trim bar, accompanied by the exclusive 18-karat rose-gold-plated 30th anniversary logo on the lid, are eye-catching additions that give ZenBook Edition 30 a look of pure luxury.

The ZenBook Edition 30 also has a complete set of premium accessories, including a Pearl White mouse, a leather-look box and mouse pad, and a genuine-leather sleeve.
