CS:GO gamers on AMD hardware face permabans by Valve

The latest update to Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) brought a slew of bug fixes and gameplay improvement as well as a new map for competitive play. While most CS:GO players received it with open arms, gamers using AMD graphics cards may not be as happy as some of them have been facing permabans for the simple reason of using AMD graphics cards.

The most important thing to remember is not to rejoin a match if you crash, as that will lead to the mentioned ban. The bug isn’t without its fixes though as it supposedly can be fixed by simply using low graphics settings. So if you are using AMD GPUs and just have to frag some n00bs in CS:GO before Valve releases an update to fix this, you have an option here.

While I am sure most of the bans implemented can be overcome via patches, what do you think Valve was thinking when they released an update which affected so many gamers?

Pokdepinion: I hope CS:GO has a way to compensate the poor AMD users who are unable to enjoy their favorite game currently.
