The upcoming expansion for Destiny 2 titled Curse of Osiris has just received its opening cinematic fro Bungie and Activision. It’s pretty damn epic, that’s for sure.

Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris Opening Cinematic

Bungie and Activision just released the opening cinematic of the “Curse of Osiris” expansion for Destiny 2.

The cinematic introduces Osiris himself. He is Ikora’s mentor and the most infamous warlock in the world. He’s also an exile, voiced by Oded Fehr from The Mummy. Perhaps even more interesting is his the sassy ghost Sagira who accompanies Osiris.

Following the events in the cinematic, she will somehow meet up with the players and guide them in their mission. She is voiced by Morena Baccarin, and she’s a bit eccentric to say the least. Incidentally, she will also be the first ghost to speak to the players besides their own.

The expansion will increase the character level cap to 25, while the power level cap will be raised to 330. It will add Mercury as a destination, the Lighthouse as a social space (open to all, this time around), a new quest, new missions, strikes, adventures and the new Raid Lair feature. Basically, it’s supposed to keep Destiny 2 players busy for a while, which will be certainly challenging considering how fast some players go through games nowadays, especially Destiny 2.

For those of you who aren’t aware, the main Destiny 2 game itself was released earlier for consoles, specifically PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is now also available for PC via Battle.net. Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris expansion will launch on December 5th 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Battle.net.

Pokdepinion: I’m pretty much aware of certain people playing Destiny 2 for 12 hours straight almost everyday at this point so it’s no wonder that they don’t have much to do in the game. Well, it’s mid-November and the Curse of Osiris expansion is coming soon so I suppose all of you will have more things to do in the game soon.
