5/10In a surprising twist, Capcom has announced Resident Evil 2 Remake at the Sony Interactive Entertainment conference at E3 2018. So the rumours were true.
E3 2018: Resident Evil 2 Remake Announced
At the Sony Interactive Entertainment press conference in E3 2018 held in Los Angeles, the folks over at Capcom showed a trailer for a rather familiar game. It’s Resident Evil 2 Remake.
In the Resident Evil 2 Remake trailer, we get to see bits and pieces of the Raccoon City incident and a much younger Leon S. Kennedy. Apart from the trailer, there’s nothing much else we know about the game for now. Heck, the announcement itself was a surprise.
This would be a good treat for those who started playing the series starting from Resident Evil 4, because from that point on, we weren’t really fighting zombies anymore, just humans with some weird disease or creature inside them.
No release date, release window or platforms announced but given the fact that it was shown during the Sony Interactive Entertainment E3 2018 conference, it’s essentially a given that it will be coming to the PlayStation 4 at least. As soon as information becomes available, you can be sure we will be reporting it right here.
