E3 2018: Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country Expansion Announced
At the Nintendo Direct presentation in E3 2018, Nintendo announced Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country story expansion. The expansion is set to hit the Nintendo Switch sometime in September 2018.
The trailer shows us characters traveling the world of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but this expansion brings us to the background of major antagonist, Jin, and the history of his birthplace, Torna. Dubbed “the Golden Country”, we will get a chance to see what Torna once was and what it has become, perhaps adding some insight into some of the major villains’ motivations.
We can only expect to see more of Jin’s history and that of his country coming to this particular expansion, which will be the last listed expansion on the game’s site. If you have the expansion pass, you will be getting the expansion as it comes out. However, you can also purchase the story content separately if you so wish.
The game expansion will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch sometime in September of this year, though you can pick up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 right now for the platform as it has already been released.

Pokdepinion: Well, it’s not a new Xenoblade game and quite frankly, it’s too soon to expect one anyway so having this expansion is a plus for fans.
