Grab Will No Longer Offer GrabRewards Points For Cash Payments Starting 15 March 2020

One of the things that we love about using Grab is the fact that they give GrabRewards points every time you make a transaction on the platform itself, whether it be by cash or online transaction. Now it seems that they are pulling out the former’s benefits to encourage a “cashless revolution”.

You will still be able to earn points with physical cash, at least until 15th of March 2020. With these points, you can claim several rewards including discounts for Grab rides or even their food delivery service.

If you are familiar with Grab’s reward system, they have several tiers, and depending on which category you are at, you get 1.5 reward points for every RM1 you spend (Gold Tier).

To make sure that your GrabRewards Points stays valid, you’ll need to make at one transaction in the period of 3 months. Grab is available to download from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store for free.
