GSC Introduces Samsung Cinema LED – HDR LED Display And JBL by HARMAN!
Golden Screen Cinemas or GSC, has announced that it is joining arms with Samsung Malaysia Electronics in introducing Cinema LED technology right here in Malaysia.

This new next-generation viewing experience which be made available at GSC’s flagship point in Mid Valley Megamall, marks a milestone for GSC with Samsung’s Cinema LED implementation. The country follows suit from other regions such as China, Korea, as well as in Europe.
The new addition to the cinema will see it deliver a more captivating and vibrant viewing experience, with its audio being provided by audio technologies from JBL by HARMAN Professional Solutions and Samsung Audio Lab. The integration of the new audio tech, includes powerful speakers bordering the screen, and an expanded audio ‘sweet spot’ throughout the theater’s seating space.
The LED screen, which measures 10.3m wide in size, brings HDR picture quality to the big screen for spectators to be immerse with. It is able to show the brightest colors, better looking whites, and deepest blacks at a nearly infinite contrast ratio.

Pokdepinion: This sounds awesome. Quite intrigued by how it will change the experience of watching movies in cinemas. That being said, I don’t think I would have the time to go there and experience it myself. *sobs
