honor Malaysia today has just launched their brand new honor 8X smartphone, where it comes at a very interesting price point of just RM949.

Today, the honor 8X was officially launched at Petaling Jaya. Now with the price confirmed, here’s what you’ll be getting with the device. The phone packs a Kirin 710 chipset, which is a first from honor and their sister company, HUAWEI.

The smartphone features a 6.5-inch display with a 91% screen-to-body ratio and comes with a dual camera combo (20MP+2MP) as its main lenses. For selfies, it sports a 16MP shooter that comes with facial recognition.

Under the hood, it packs 4GB RAM and surprisingly 128GB of internal storage (the one we’ve got previously was a 64GB version). Powering it up is a 3750mAh battery and the phone does indeed offer AI capabilities.

Present at the launch were brand ambassadors SonaOne and Zizan Razak, where both of them shared their experience on the device and they’ve also performed live on stage.

Now, although the price is set at RM949, they’ve included a special offer for you guys out there. Happening on 12th October 2018 at 10AM, you can get the honor 8X smartphone and get the honor band 3 for free on hihonor.com and Shopee, which is quite a deal. The honor band 3 was unveiled at the launch and it costs RM119, so that’s RM119 more value right there.

If you prefer to purchase it offline, you can do so at their roadshow in MyTown Shopping Center, Kuala Lumpur. It will be a two day event, where it starts on the 13th to 14th October 2018 and you can also get the smartphone as well the honor band 3 in one combo.
