Here comes the big one.

Heads up Huawei fans, Huawei’s launching the P10 Plus tomorrow (at the time of writing) sooner than expected. The Huawei P10 Plus will be available in all Huawei Experience Stores across the country.

Huawei P10 Plus is the big brother of both the Huawei P10 and P10 Lite. A bigger phone with a 5.5″ screen compared to the P10’s 5.1″ and the P10 Lite’s 5.2″ screen. The P10 Plus will retail at RM3,099 and will be available in only two colours – either Dazzling Gold or Graphite Black.

For the rear camera the P10 Plus comes packed with Leica Dual Camera 2.0 – a 20MP monochrome and a 12MP RGB sensor, using SUMMILUX-H Leica lenses. For the front, an 8MP camera with F1.9 aperture – which is the same as as it’s younger brother, the P10. The Huawei P10 Plus is powered by a Kirin 960 SoC together with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The camera on the P10 Plus gets a slight bump in terms of aperture at f1.8 compared to the P10’s f2.2. Also with the P10 scoring an amazing 87 DxoMark (better than the iPhone I might add), imagine what the shooter on this beast is capable of doing. Read our coverage on the P10’s DxoMark right here.

Here’s a more in-depth spec sheet of the device.

Huawei’s come a long way from its relative obscurity in the mobile world. Although they’re not really in the same breath as the big guns like say, Samsung or Apple but they’re definitely close. The future does look bright for Huawei.

Pokdepinion: Looks like the sudden earlier than expected release of the P10 Plus seems to be a knee-jerk response to a certain rival’s recent announcement of their galactic flagship device’s pre-order dates. Then again I might be wrong. The Huawei P10 Plus looks to be a solid phone though and I’m sure it will do well.
