iOS Users Can Now Smart Download Netflix Contents

If you may recall, Smart Downloads on Netflix was introduced to Android and Windows 10 users last year. Well now, Netflix has brought the feature to iOS users to enjoy as well.

With the feature and once you have finished watching a downloaded episode on your Netflix iPhone app, Smart Downloads will automatically download the next episode and delete the one that you’ve just watch when you are connected to Wi-Fi. The feature won’t download content if you are connected to only your mobile data.

If you don’t like for your episodes to be deleted after watching them, you can simply manually manage your download content and switch off the Smart Download feature. To check on your downloads, you will see a status notification on your phone when downloading is in progress and you’ll receive a notification when the downloads are complete.

Pokdepinion: It comes in handy I’d say. Who knows when you are binging while on your travels and suddenly your mobile data is low. At least that assures you of an episode to enjoy more.
