Lenovo LEGION Y920 Launched in Malaysia
We’ve seen some new products from Lenovo LEGION that debuted during Gamescom 2017 in Germany, as we’ve reported over here and here. Today, Lenovo Malaysia has officially launched the Lenovo LEGION Y920 gaming laptop, along with the LEGION Y720 and Y520 gaming tower PCs.
Lenovo LEGION Y920 Gaming Laptop
The newly launched Lenovo LEGION Y920 gaming laptop is their high-end offering. It comes with NVIDIA G-Sync, 7th-gen Intel Core i7 (unlocked) CPU, and GeForce GTX 1070. What makes the machine interesting is that it doesn’t use a chiclet keyboard but instead, a mechanical keyboard with optional multicolour backlight.
As for the audio side of things, the machine has a 3W bass subwoofer and a couple of 2W JBL speakers with Dolby Home Theater. Pretty interesting, isn’t it?
The Lenovo LEGION Y920 gaming laptop will be retailing from RM12,999 (inclusive of GST), and will be available for purchase at Lenovo Exclusive Stores and Lenovo Multi Brand Stores.
Lenovo LEGION Y720 Tower
This gaming tower by Lenovo is powered by the 7th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU with up to GeForce GTX 1070 in the graphics department. This particular offering is meant to provide enough power for most gamers to enjoy today’s resource-intensive games without any problems. In case there’s a need, it also features a tool-less design for easier upgrading of storage, graphics, and memory.
The Lenovo LEGION Y720 tower PC will be retailing from RM7,799 (inclusive of GST), and will be available for purchase at Lenovo Exclusive Stores and Lenovo Multi Brand Stores.
Lenovo LEGION Y520 Tower
The Lenovo LEGION Y520 gaming tower is a rather adorable looking machine. It’s small, easy to carry around, but packs quite a punch in terms of power. It has a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU and GeForce GTX 1060 GPU. It’s also said to be easy to swap out the storage and memory in the desktop. If you need a desktop that’s easier to bring around,, this is the one!
The Lenovo LEGION Y520 tower PC will be retailing from RM4,999 (inclusive of GST), and will be available for purchase at Lenovo Exclusive Stores and Lenovo Multi Brand Stores.

Pokdepinion: Honestly, I’m very curious as to how the Y920 laptop performs. I want to see how far it can go, especially in our benchmarking suite. Only time will tell.
