LG G7 ThinQ To Come With Boombox Speaker – Also Comes With DTS:X 3D Surround Sound!
It seems that LG has been readying themselves for the build-up towards the launch of their latest smartphone, the LG G7 ThinkQ (that’s pronounce similarly like ‘Thank You’) with the announcement of a boombox speaker. The speaker, which they claimed to offer an unrivaled high fidelity audio experience, is said to be 10 times louder than your average smartphone.

Another key note from the announcement is that, users who prefer headphones are in luck as the LG G7 ThinQ is the first smartphone to offer DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, which means it supports for up to 7.1 channel performance without even the need for high-end headphones. It is designed to create an illusion of immersive 3D sound which will be coming from your smartphone.
Besides that, the G7 ThinQ features Hi-Fi Quad DAC that can drive high-impedance, high-end headphones for an even better quality sound. It packs four digital to analog convertors onto a single sound chip which lowers the total harmonic distortion rate to 0,0002% for highly accurate sound reproduction. The device also supports the Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) audio format, giving hi-resolution sound quality in small file size.

Pokdepinion: Well the device seems like it will top the charts in the audio category. But for me personally, I don’t go blasting my music outdoors, especially in public. Despite that, the DTS:X 3D Surround Sound is a very much welcomed addition.
