Previously, we’ve posted about how LG had won EISA’s award for best OLED TV for six years straight. Now, LG Electronics are aiming to be number one in the LED projector category for the 7th year running. They have unveil two new projectors at IFA, which is Europe’s largest consumer electronics and home appliance show in Berlin.

LG Pro Beam UST and LG MiniBeam

LG Lights Up IFA 2017 - Introducing LG Pro Beam UST And LG MiniBeam 21The LG Pro Beam UST (Ultra Short -Throw) model PH30JG offers a full HD 1080p image in a compact design and comes without the hassles of most home projectors. Forget about all the unsightly cables and expansive space required between the projector and screen, the Pro Beam only requires 12cm to display a 100-inch image. It is convenient as it doesn’t require its own stand, you can simply put it wherever you please. It generates up to 1,500 ANSI lumen of brightness and Pro Beam UST’s 150,000:1 contrast ratio ensure image will look crisp and accurate. It also has an option to connect to a number of wireless speakers and headphones. Featuring LG’s webOS smart TV, viewers can have access to a number of streaming services.

Also set for its debut is the LG MiniBeam. It is an HD projector with a built-in battery which can last up to four hours, so you can enjoy your movies in a cord-free environment. The MiniBeam features Multi-Angle Projection, where you can tilt the device up to 70 degrees to display image high up on a wall or even the ceiling without using a tripod. You can connect and mirror other devices such as laptops and smartphones while charging it through its USB Type C port.

We are immensely proud of our long-standing position as the global leader in portable LED projectors. The projectors that we’ll be debuting at IFA will provide consumers with an immersive, high-quality home cinema experience that’s extremely convenient, reliable and fun. Jang Ikhwan, head of the IT business division at LG Electronics

Pokdepinion: Seems like convenient and compact for users. Not too sure about the price though.
