Motorola Mobility announces Moto Z2 Play with Moto Mods and the Moto C and Moto E4 series in Malaysia. Will this be your next smartphone?

Is your phone smart enough to keep up with you? Do you crave for better technology in your smartphone? Motorola announced a new addition to its Moto Z family with the all new Moto Z2 Play.

The Moto Z2 Play can instantly transform into exactly what you need, when you need it, when paired with Moto Mods. It has a thinner, lighter design, as well as an upgrade in performance.

The Moto Z family of smartphones with Moto Mods have allowed people to do things that were never before possible with a phone, from projecting up to a 70” screen anywhere to adding 10x optical zoom. With the next generation of devices, you can experience even more new ways to transform your smartphone.

Moto Z2 Play features a precision crafted, all-metal unibody design that not only looks great, but stands up to everyday wear and tear. The 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display makes games, photos and videos leap off the screen in vivid color and razor sharp detail. You also get an all day battery and a 2.2GHz octa-core processor It is supposedly capable of getting up to 7 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging.

The phone’s main camera has laser and dual autofocus pixels, which will improve the picture qualities especially in low-light situations. The 5MP front camera with dual color correlated temperature (CCT) flash has wide-angle lens, so you can take those wefies and fit a whole bunch of people in frame..

There’s also the new instant queries in Moto Voice, which will provide helpful info like weather or calendar updates, or automatically launch an application without having to touch or unlock your phone. With a redesigned fingerprint reader, you can activate one button nav to quickly move through screens. Swipe left to go back, right to access recent apps, tap to go home, and use one long press to lock your phone.

Availability and Pricing

The all new Moto Z2 Play is now available for sale at all authorized Lenovo Mobile dealers and retail outlets. It is available in 2 colour variants; Lunar Gray and Fine Gold; and retails at RM1,999.

The first 1,000 customers who purchase the new Moto Z2 Play smartphone from authorized dealers and retail outlets will receive a gift box (Carbon Fiber Style Cap, Moto Z2 Play Metal Phone Frame, Motorola Selfie Stick, and Nano Liquid Film) worth RM299.

 

Moto C Plus

The Moto C Plus has a surprisingly large battery, at 4,000mAh, that is expected to last up to 30 hours with mixed usage. Under normal circumstances, this should definitely be enough to last a whole day.

It has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by the MediaTek MT6737 64-bit quad-core 1.3GHz processor. The main camera utilizes an 8MP sensor, while the front camera.is set with 2MP.

The Moto C Plus comes is available in 2 colour variants of Starry Black and Fine Gold, and retails at RM539.

 

Moto C

The Moto C is Motorola’s answer for performance under a budget smartphone with a 5-inch FWVGA display. For the sake of improving photos in low-light conditions, the Moto C’s 5MP rear camera has an LED flash paired with it.

The 2MP front camera has something similar as it’s supported by a selfie light The Moto C is available in 3G and has a 2,350mAh battery. The Moto C also supports Dual SIM. It’s powered by the Mediatek MT6737m 64-bit quad-core 1.1GHz processor and runs on Android 7.0.

The Moto C is available in 2 colour variants,Starry Black and Pearl White, and retails for RM399.

 

Moto E4 Plus

With a, 5.5” HD display wrapped in smooth metal, and a 5000mAh battery, the Moto E4 Plus sounds like a recipe for success. The Moto E4 Plus works with the 10W rapid charger, which gives you hours of battery life in minutes of charging.

The Moto E4 Plus features a 13MP autofocus rear camera and a 5MP front camera with a selfie flash. Powered by the Mediatek MT6737 chipset with quad-core processor and 4G speeds, the Moto E4Plus is expected to have quite a bit of power packed inside. For those of you who are wondering, it will indeed be running on Android 7.1.1.

The Moto E4 Plus retails at RM799 and comes in two colour variants, Iron Gray and Fine Gold.

 

Moto E4

Moto E4 features a 5-inch HD display and an elegant design. Just like its Plus brethren, the Moto E4 is powered by the Mediatek MT6737 chipset. It has an 8MP autofocus main camera, for an easier time shooting, while the front camera is a 5MP shooter.

And with the 2,800 mAh battery in the Moto E4, it should be plenty enough to go for the rest of the day. The Moto E4 retails at RM639 and is available in two colour variants, Iron Gray and Blush Gold.

 

Pokdepinion: If I had to pick any of those, I’d put my money on the Moto E4 Plus. With 5,000 mAH battery, what’s not to love?
