New Acer Swift 5 Launched in Malaysia

At a launch event in Kuala Lumpur today, Acer Malaysia has launched the new Acer Swift 5. It is a lightweight productivity laptop that doesn’t skimp on performance.

Powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core CPU, the Acer Swift 5 weighs only 990g. The chassis is made from magnesium alloy, and surprisingly has an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 dGPU. However, some variants come with Intel UHD graphics / Intel Iris Plus graphics instead. You can have up to 16GBs of RAM but all variants will have 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD.

The Acer Swift 5 utilizes a 15-inch Full HD IPS display with a 170-degree viewing angle and 86.4% screen-to-body ratio. Price starts from RM3,699 all the way to RM4,699 depending on the specifications. The first 5 units purchased at selected outlets / online stores in Malaysia will come with a Mi True Wireless Earbud Basic for free.
